What to send
Colleges compare applicants using the concordance, but every score on your application must come from an actual test administration. Use the converter to decide which test to take (or submit), not to invent a score.
Got both scores?
Submit whichever converts higher. Send the SAT if your SAT ≥ converted ACT; send the ACT otherwise.
Below the school's median?
If your converted score is below the college's published 50th-percentile range, apply test-optional where allowed.
Deciding between tests?
